GREENVILLE, SC - JULY 2025
One of the Upstate's most prominent football programs will once again be heard loud and clear across the airwaves this fall — as The Fan Upstate proudly continues its tradition of broadcasting Byrnes High School football for another exciting season.
For over a decade, The Fan Upstate has been the trusted home for Rebels football, delivering every play, every touchdown, and every thrilling Friday night under the lights. That tradition continues in 2025, with all games airing live on 97.1 FM in Spartanburg, 97.7 FM in Greenville, 1330 AM in Greenville, 950AM in Spartanburg, and streaming nationwide on the Audacy app, TuneIn app, and the iHeartradio app.
Returning to the booth is Cole Bryson, the voice of Byrnes football, who enters his fifth season calling games for the Rebels. His deep connection to the program, combined with expert analysis and a passion for high school football, makes him a fixture for fans across the region. Bryson will once again be joined by Layne Fowler and Sam Clark.
"Byrnes Football isn't just any other football program—it's a staple here in the Upstate," said Bryson. "We're proud to continue telling the story of this program every Friday night on The Fan Upstate."
Led by head coach Reggie Shaw, the Rebels look to rebound from last season's struggles and make another run at a state title. With talent across the board and a loyal fanbase behind them, Byrnes enters the 2025 season with high aspirations.
Catch every game, pregame show, and postgame breakdown live on The Fan Upstate or anywhere via the Audacy app.
