Wofford College inducted their newest class to the school's Athletic Hall of Fame over the weekend. The person class is headlines by former Wofford Men's Basketball Coach Mike Young. He left Wofford in 2019 for Virginia Tech, where he currently leads the Hokie program.
Others in the class included former Women's Track star Mcleod Dean and former Women's Soccer standout Hayley Younginer. Two of Young's former players were also inducted in the class. Fletcher Magee and Cameron Jackson, both started on the 2019 Wofford squad that won a school record 30 games.
That Terrier team got a win in the NCAA Tournament after winning the SoCon Title. Magee was the SoCon Player Of The Year and had over 2,500 points in his career in Spartanburg. Young who recently eclipsed the 400 win mark in his career, had nearly 300 wins at Wofford.
The new class was inducted during a ceremony on Saturday.
