Defense and ground game lead Panthers to win over Broncos

The running game and a solid defensive effort led the Carolina Panthers to a 23-10 win over the Denver Broncos Sunday afternoon.

The Panther defense held the Broncos to just 14 1st downs and under 250 yards of total offense. Carolina was plus one in the turnover margin, forcing two Bronco turnovers. Sam Darnold started at QB for Carolina he went 11 of 19 passing for 164 yards and a TD. Panther RB D'onta Foreman paced the ground game with 113 yards on 24 carries. WR D.J. Moore had 4 catches for just over a 100 yards and a TD.

The Panthers never trailed in the game they got on the board in the 1st quarter with a TD drive of 11 plays and 71 yards that chewed 7 minutes off the clock. Carolina Kick Eddy Piniero had three field goals in the game, hitting on kicks from 26,36 and 42 yards out.

The Panthers are now 4-8 on the season, they have a bye this weekend then will travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks, December 11th. The Panthers play all season long on Classic Rock 101.1 FM.
