Four teams from SC will take the field in NCAA Regionals

Four schools from the Palmetto State heard their names called during the NCAA Baseball Tournament Selection Show, Monday.

The Clemson Tigers, South Carolina Gamecocks, Wofford Terriers and Coastal Carolina Chanticleers will all be playing postseason baseball, as they open the NCAA Tournament later this week.

Clemson is one of the top 8 seeds in the country and will host a Regional. They will take on 4 seed High Point Friday at 7PM. Other teams in the Clemson Regional include 2 seed Vanderbilt and 3 seed Coastal Carolina they'll play Friday at 12PM.

South Carolina is the 2 seed in the Raleigh, NC Regional they'll take on 3 seed James Madison Friday at 2PM. NC State is the host team and they'll square off with Bryant Friday at 7PM.

Wofford is in the NCAA Regionals after winning the SoCon Tournament in Greenville over the weekend. The Terriers are the 3 seed in the Chapel Hill, NC Regional and will take on 2 seed LSU Friday at Noon.

The Regionals are double elimination and the winners will move on to the Super Regionals.
