An Upstate University has issued a progress report on their 40 million dollar renovation project.
The Furman Athletic Department says, the donor funded overhaul of Timmons Arena has been ongoing for a year now and the upgrades are taking shape.
The plaza entry at the arena has been upgraded with new fixtures and a new box office has been built. Inside Timmons Arena has been expanded and now features viewing areas to watch games from the concourse.
Furman Athletics says it is continuing fund raising efforts for the next phase of the plan.
