The Carolina Panthers are starting to find their stride after a slow start to the season, they got a road win at Seattle 30 to 24, Sunday. The Panther defense was strong in the win holding Seattle to just 16 1st downs and less than 300 yards of total offense.
Carolina controlled the ground game running for 223 yards and holding Seattle to under 50 yards rushing. The Panthers had the ball for over 39 minutes, controlling the time of possession.
They were plus two in turnover margin, picking off Seattle QB Geno Smith twice. One of those interceptions went to former Gamecock standout Jaycee Horn. Chuba Hubbard and D'onta Foreman paced the ground game for the Panthers. Hubbard had 14 carries for 74 yards and a TD, Foreman had 74 yards on 21 carries.
The Panthers have now won 3 of their last 4 and are 5-8 on the season. They are back in action this Sunday as they host the Pittsburgh Steelers for a 1 PM kickoff. You can hear every Panther game, all season long on Classic Rock 101.1
