Powdersville Football has reached unprecedented heights this season. The Patriots just played in their first Upper State Title Game in program history. They downed previously unbeaten Clinton 27-14 on Friday night, thanks to a big 2nd half. Powdersville outscored the Red Devils 20-0 after the break. That came just a week after the Patriots edged Daniel 36-35 to end the Lions State Championship reign and snap their 36 game win streak.

Powdersville now has their 1st Upper State Title and will play for the State Title in Class 3A for the 1st time ever. They take on Lower State Champs Beaufort Thursday night at Benedict College in Columbia. Patriots Head Coach Robert Mustar joined the Saturday Morning Scramble this week to talk about the win vs Clinton.
