
The South Carolina Hall Of Fame has announced their 2022 Induction Class. The five member group includes four former standout out players and a legendary coach from five different in-state colleges.
Two time Clemson All American and NFL O-Lineman Joe Bostic is part of the group. He'll join his brother Jim, who was inducted in last year's class. Jim Bostic played 10 seasons in the NFL with the Cardinals and started over 110 games in his career.
Legendary former Wofford Coach Mike Ayers is going in, as well. Ayers led the Terriers to over 200 wins, 8 playoff appearances and five SoCon Titles in his 30 year tenure in Spartanburg.
Former Gamecock and NFL DB Brad Edwards is also in the this year's group. He played 9 seasons with three NFL franchises. Edwards helped the Washington Redskins win Super Bowl XXVI , picking off two passes in the game.
Greenwood Native John Gilliam will be enshrined with them. Gilliam ran track and starred on the gridiron at South Carolina State. He went on to play 11 seasons with five NFL teams. He was selected to four straight Pro Bowls in the 1970's.
Former Furman All-American Stanford Jennings rounds out the class. He was a three time SoCon Player Of The Year Award Winner with the Paladins. Jennings played 9 seasons for the Cincinnati Bengals for former Furman Alum and Hall Of Fame Coach Sam Wyche. The two helped the Bengals reached the Super Bowl.
