South Carolina Woman's Basketball has now won their 2nd National Title in program history. South Carolina captured their first National Title since 2017 with Sunday night's double digit win over perennial power Uconn, 64-49.
The Gamecocks held Uconn well under their season scoring average of 74 point per game. They've now held opponents under their normal number in 47 straight games. South Carolina jumped out to a 22-8 lead after the 1st quarter and never looked back. Offensive rebounding was a major factor, as South Carolina owned a 21-6 advantage on the offensive glass.

Point Guard Destanni Henderson led the way for South Carolina with a game high 26. She was named the National Championship Game's Most Outstanding Player. All-American Aliyah Boston added a double-double of 11 points and 16 boards.

This marked the 4th Final Four appearance in program history, with the 1st coming in 2015. All Four appearances have come under the leadership of Dawn Staley.
