While most Braves fans were able to sit through the past two losses to the Seattle Mariners, a few will realize around first pitch Wednesday (3:40 p.m. ET) that they no longer have access to watch Braves games. Xfinity and Diamond Sports, who operates Bally Sports, are in a contract dispute and the channels are no longer available on Comcast/Xfinity.
Diamond Sports Group is going through a bankruptcy and has had multiple issues across various regions airing local sports teams, but it had previously not affected the majority of Braves fans.
Due to the bankruptcy, many expect this dispute will not be resolved quickly. None of the three games this weekend against the Los Angeles Dodgers are nationally televised, and so Xfinity customers won't be able to watch a possible NLCS preview.
