LAKE FOREST, Ill. (670 The Score) Bears right guard Nate Davis will likely miss multiple games with a high ankle sprain, head coach Matt Eberflus indicated Monday.

The Bears have already ruled out Davis for their game against the Raiders this upcoming Sunday. Davis suffered the injury during the first quarter of the Bears' 19-13 loss to the Vikings on Sunday as quarterback Justin Fields was pushed into the back of his right leg.

Davis walked off gingerly under his own power but was later carted back to the locker room at Soldier Field. The team turned to Ja'Tyre Carter in his place at right guard.

Davis joined the Bears on a three-year, $30-million deal in March. He has started four games for the team. Davis missed time early in the season while dealing with a death in his family.

In other health news, Bears rookie cornerback Terell Smith is dealing with mononucleosis and expected to miss three to four weeks, Eberflus said.

The Bears (1-5) host the Raiders (3-3) on Sunday at Soldier Field.
