Say what you will about the silliness of taking pride in a 24-game preseason winning streak, but Super Bowl champion Doc Walker is glad the Washington Commanders (and many of their starters) played a Baltimore Ravens team that competes to win in the preseason. Walker, joined by The Athletic's David Aldridge, talked about the benefit of Washington playing and beating an organization (like the Kansas City Chiefs) that takes the warm-up games seriously and how that benefits them in establishing a winning culture based on accountability.
Aldridge and Walker (in for Chris Russell) also got into somethings that disappointed them from Monday night's game, what they liked from the Commanders, and what it was like at FedEx Field and on the sideline for the first home game of the Josh Harris ownership era.
