The Commanders have a new ownership group, a new general manager in Adam Peters and will soon have a new head coach. The next big addition after that will come with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. But, who should Washington select?
It appears that this will not be a quick turnaround for the Commanders, and producer Denton Day argues the team should be learning quarterback. Doc Walker (in for Kevin Sheehan) argues that the clock should be ticking faster: Four years [of rebuild] is a con job, he said.
Doc and Denton get into a bit of a nit-picking conversation about some of the top quarterbacks coming out of college starting with USC's Caleb Williams the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner, before Doc tossed in a guy he really loves in LSU's Jayden Daniels, the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner.
