With the Washington Commanders in the bye week, riding a four-game losing streak, and with their 4-9 record currently slated to get the 4th overall draft pick, it is still early, but it is now full-blown Mock Draft season in the DMV and The Hoffman Show is on it!
Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports has put out his latest mock and has Washington - and their new front office – selecting LSU quarterback and Heisman Trophy finalist Jayden Daniels. The Athletic also put out another mock and had the Commanders taking Penn State offensive tackle Olu Fashanu.
Lynnell Willingham (in for Craig Hoffman) begins the conversation – heard in the audio player above – with a clip from Jason La Canfora, in which the NFL Insider says people around the league who he trusts have told him unsolicited that they. believe the Commanders have "found a helluva quarterback" in Sam Howell. "I think the kid's gonna win a lot of games in this league."
