Liz's Kitchen: Cheesy Garlic Pull Apart Bread recipe

Garlic Bread
Liz Mantel

This is super quick and super easy and it will look like you spent some TIME on this one. The secret is the bread, now you can use any sourdough or crusty bread loaf you want. However, if you want a good hack that will elevate the bread just a little more - get the Garlic Tuscan bread from Wegmans!

Ingredients

1 loaf sourdough or hard bread
1 stick butter
1 tsp parmesan cheese, grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
3/4 tsp salt
1 bag mozzarella cheese

Instructions

1) Pre-heat the oven to 350 and chop parsley. Melt butter, garlic, parmesan, and salt together in a bowl. Then mix in the parsley with the butter mixture.
2) Next, take the bread and cut diagonally deep but not all the way through. Then turn the bread and cut it again in a criss-cross pattern.
3) Take the cheese and place it in between the rows and pour a little bit of the butter mixture on top. You'll want to do this for all the rows making sure to get into the crevices.
4) Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
5) Remove from the oven and uncover the bread and place it back in the oven for 10 more minutes.
6) Pull out, let cool, and then dig in! It makes the perfect snack or appetizer! Feel free to mix it up and add pepperoni or other favorite treats!
