This truly is a recipe that SHOCKED me. I was skeptical because I thought it would just taste like a ball of ground beef. I could not have been more wrong. The taste was amazing and it really was easy to make. Grandma George did say she would make it in one big loaf, but I followed the recipe she gave me and made mini-loaves and it worked out amazing, especially if you love the top of a meatloaf! Enjoy
Ingredients
1 ½ pounds ground chuck
1 cup fine dry breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 (5-ounce) can evaporated milk
¾ cup of your fave barbecue sauce
Instructions
Combine the first 6 ingredients, stirring until the mixture is thoroughly blended. Shape mixture into 6 loaves; place loaves on rack of greased broiler pan (I used a baking sheet with aluminum foil). Spoon barbecue sauce over loaves. Bake at 450 for 25 minutes. Serve immediately.
