This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash was joined in studio by Bryan Pugh, Executive Director of the Brain Injury Association of Maryland, (BIAMD), and via phone by Tom Gallup, BIAMD Advocate, who is a full-time caregiver for his son Andrew who suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2015 and is in a Minimally Unconscious State, (MCS). He is awake, but only minimally responsive. Tom talked about his son's Brain Injury and the biggest challenges facing the Brian Injury Community and talked about his Support Group for Brain Injury Caregivers he started at severebicaregivers.com. Bryan shared how BIAMD helps the brain injury community including their upcoming conference April 3rd & 4th at the DoubleTree by Hilton Baltimore North-Pikesville.
