This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash was joined in studio by Essence Fredericks, Business Volunteers Maryland, (BVM)'s GIVE Alumni Committee Turtle Tank Chair and Carla Johnson, BVM's GIVE Alumni Committee Chair, to talk about the impact BVM makes in the community, their GIVE Fellowship, one of their core programs, and Turtle Tank, the "Shark Tank for Good," that aims to raise $20,000 for Baltimore nonprofits, with 100% going directly to the organizations involved.

Business Volunteers Maryland, (BVM), is a nonprofit organization that strengthens the community by making strategic connections between people, businesses and nonprofits. For 15 years, BVM's GIVE Fellowship has been shaping the next generation of civic leaders, empowering professionals to engage, connect and drive change in Baltimore. Turtle Tank is a competition founded by alumni of BVM's GIVE Fellowship as a fun, engaging way to provide monetary support to Baltimore-area nonprofits participating in GIVE Advisory Projects.
