This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash was joined in studio by Charlie Gischlar, Deputy Director, Office of Communications, Maryland State Highway Administration, (SHA), to talk about how the SHA prepares for the Winter season including technology, resources the public can use if they have to drive during a Winter storm and helpful safety tips for drivers during snowy and icy conditions.
Charlie also revealed how the SHA is reducing overall salt usage and shared when they open certain park and rides to truckers during Winter storms.
