This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash was joined in studio by Lisa Zawacki, Executive Director, and Elle "Chef Mo" Moseley, Patient Advocate, from the National Kidney Foundation Serving Maryland & Delaware, (NKFMDDE), to talk about the Maryland Kidney Walk, the Delaware Walk and their personal perspective to their mission. Lisa is living with Stage 3 chronic kidney disease and Chef Mo's kidney disease journey led to a kidney transplant.

The National Kidney Foundation is proudly celebrating its 75th anniversary. Today at the NKFMDDE, their mission is to save and improve lives by eliminating preventable kidney disease, transforming patient care with compassion and innovation, and advancing health equity across every community they serve. Their vision is to enhance the lives of everyone with, at risk of, or affected by kidney disease.

The 23rd Annual Maryland Kidney Walk is Sunday, October 19th at Erickson Field at UMBC. For online registration, visit kidneywalk.org/maryland.
