This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash was joined in studio by Nina Christian, Social Services Director, Potomac Division, Central Maryland Area Command, Salvation Army of Central Maryland, to talk about their programs including their Commodity Food Supplemental Program, (CFSP), their FeedMore mobile feeding program for our homeless and impoverished neighbors in need, and Bundle Up Baltimore, going on now thru January 25th in partnership with Zips Cleaners and Today's 101.9, to keep those in need in the Baltimore community warm this winter with donations of coats, blankets, hats, scarves, clothing, etc. The collection period has been extended from January 18th to January 25th due to recent winter storms and frigid cold temperatures.

The Salvation Army of Central Maryland is dedicated to serving the community and providing essential resources to those in need. Their Commodity Food Supplemental Program, (CFSP), is a collaborative effort with Meals on Wheels, the USDA, and the Department of Aging to combat food insecurity in Central Maryland. They have other feeding programs like food pantries and their FeedMore mobile feeding program that provides hot, healthy meals as well as clothing, warm blankets and toiletries to homeless and impoverished men, women and children, six nights a week.
