This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash was joined in studio by Kim Callari, Executive Director of the Baltimore Station, to talk about their mission and programs designed specifically for veterans facing homelessness and other issues.
The Baltimore Station is a nonprofit organization founded in Baltimore in 1989 that offers therapeutic residential treatment and transitional housing programs to support veterans facing homelessness and other obstacles. With over 14 years of service to the organization, Kim has been instrumental in advancing their mission to empower veterans to achieve self-sufficiency. She was recently named one of the Most Admired CEO's by The Daily Record.
The Baltimore Station serves about 250-300 veterans annually from across the state and Kim tells the story of a veteran they recently helped together with the Veterans Administration in Vermont. They are hoping to expand their services in the 2026 to include female veterans.
