A suspect is in custody after a deadly shooting at an Upstate apartment complex, earlier this week. As we previously reported, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded after a shooting at the Boulder Creek Apartments on Furman Hall Road, Tuesday evening.
The Sheriff's Office says a victim in the shooting was taken to the hospital where he later died. The suspect 41 year old Jared Mathew Wakefield has since been charged in connection to the shooting.
Investigators say, that Wakefield fired at the victim and the victim and another person returned fire. Wakefield is being held at the Greenville County Jail.
