Human remains that were found in Barnwell County have been Identified as a Woman Missing who had been missing for over four years. Officials say, human remains discovered have been positively identified as Krystal C. Anderson, who had been missing since 2022.
The remains were found in a clandestine grave along South Carolina Highway 37 between Blackville and Springfield. The Aiken County Coroner's Office conducted an autopsy, and DNA analysis confirmed her identity.
Anderson, a mother of four, was last known to be living with her boyfriend Tony Berry before she disappeared. He is charged with murder and kidnapping in connection to the case. The investigation is ongoing.
