Officials in Western North Carolina say the final defendant in a rash of burglaries on the I-40 corridor has been sentenced to prison. The Buncombe County DA's Office says, Decario Deshawn Davis pleaded guilty to breaking and entering, last week.
Davis is one of multiple defendants in a string of vehicle thefts. He was arrested in March of last year after a home in Swannanoa was broken into. Davis will serve between 4 and 7 years in the North Carolina State Prison System.
