Tumultuous turmoil has turned to termination for an entire police force in one North Georgia town. The mayor of Cohutta a small town near the Georgia/Tennessee state line has fired every officer from the town including the Chief Of Police.
The move was made after a number of officers filed formal complaints against the mayor's wife. Ron Shinnick's wife Pam was Town Clerk there prior to her recent firing. However, the officers claim she was still working after her termination and had access to their personal information.
The Town Council there has called a special meeting for Friday and is expected to discuss he reinstatement of the officers and the removal of the mayor.
