A suspect is in custody after a weekend stabbing in the Upstate left one person injured. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported stabbing at a home in West Union, around 12:30 AM Saturday.
Upon arrival, a man was found suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to Greenville Memorial to be treated. There's been no update on the victim's condition.
Investigators say, the victim and the suspect Raynaldo Jason Rucker had been in an argument when Rucker left the house. He then allegedly returned to the home and attacked the victim with a knife.
Rucker has since been taken into custody. He's charged with attempted murder and a weapons violation.
