The search for a suspect is on after a shooting at an Upstate motel, Thursday morning left one person injured. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting at the Quality Inn on Pottery Road in Spartanburg, around 12:30AM.
Upon arrival, deputies found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Spartanburg Regional to be treated, there's been no update on their condition. The suspect identified as Paxton Tyler Bullard fled in a vehicle prior to deputies arriving at the scene.
Bullard is charged with attempted murder, shooting into a dwelling, property damage and a weapons violation. Anyone with info on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office.
