The manhunt is over for the second suspect who was wanted in connection to the Gaffney bus stop murder. Law enforcement says 18-year-old, Kevon Covington was arrested, around 4:45PM Thursday.
He was wanted in connection with the shooting death of 17-year-old Gaffney High School senior JoMilton Fair, also known as "June". A third suspect an unidentified juvenile was also taken into custody following a traffic stop in Spartanburg.
The first suspect, 17-year-old Reginald Louis Barnes Junior, was arrested Wednesday night and remains jailed on murder and other charges. Bond was denied.
Authorities say the three suspects were in a van when one approached Fair at the bus stop Wednesday morning. A fight began, and Fair was shot in the back of the head when he went to pick up his backpack .Officials say at least two guns were recovered during the investigation.
