A man who has served as CEO of an Upstate deathcare business has been extradited to another state to face sex crime charges. As we previously reported, Robert Ian Nelms was arrested in Spartanburg County, last week. Officials say, he had a fugitive warrant from Michigan.
The warrant was connected to Nelms being charged with 1st degree criminal sexual conduct in Michigan. Nelms is the CEO and Co-Owner of The Cremation Society Of South Carolina, which has two locations in the Upstate.
