One person is dead after a weekend house fire in the Upstate. Firefighters responded to a house fire on Hillcrest Circle in Liberty, Saturday morning.
The Pickens County Coroner's Office says, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another person was injured in the fire and was taken to a hospital. A 3rd person was treated at the hospital for smoke inhalation. The victim has not yet been identified and no further details have been released.
The fire remains under investigation by the Pickens County Sheriff's Office, State Fire Marshall's Office and the Pickens County Coroner's Office.
