A weekend shooting in the Upstate left one person dead and another injured. The Greer Police Department responded to the area of Trade Street, around 2:15 AM Saturday.
Upon arrival, officers found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased has been identified as 25 year old, Jonathan Gilbert Kraemer.
A 2nd person was also found with a gunshot wound to the lower body nearby. That victim was taken to the hospital to be treated.
No arrests have been announced and no formal charges have been filed, as of the time of this report.
