The primary is done, runoffs have been scheduled, and the election season is in full swing. That said, Senator Jon Ossoff will holding a rally in Atlanta this Sunday. Gubernatorial nominee Keisha Lance Bottoms and Dr. Jamal Bryant of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church will also be in attendance. This will be the first joint appearance by Ossoff and Bottoms, who are partnering as the top of the ticket candidates in the November election.
Sen. Ossoff faces one of the toughest re-election campaigns of any Democratic incumbent Senator in the country. In the Senate, Sen. Ossoff has openly fought against the Trump Administration’s attacks on Georgians’ health care, pocketbooks, and voting rights.
Ossoff secured the nomination after running unopposed in the primary, whereas his GOP opponents, Mike Collins and Derek Dooley, are currently battling it out in a contested GOP runoff.
In 2020 and 2021, Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock built a winning movement for health, jobs, and justice flipping a traditionally red state blue. Those historic victories shocked and inspired the nation, and Ossoff is trying to do it again. Check out the rally information below.
