Ingredients:
Salmon fillets
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp honey (you can substitute maple syrup)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (you can substitute white vinegar)
4 tbsp vegetable oil
Smoked Paprika & Tony Cachere’s  or Blackening seasoning

Directions:
1. Make The Slaw/Salad - Make the slaw. Whisk all ingredients together and then add the slaw. Coat evenly.
2. Blackened Salmon
Season blackened salmon with salt and pepper.
Heat a large sauté pan until hot then add a very small amount of cooking oil. Use fan!
Cook Salmon for 4 mins & flip.
Add blackened seasoning to filets
Flip and sear blackened side down for 3-4 more minutes, watch closely that filets don’t burn, carefully turn each piece and sauté on the other side for about 2 minutes, or longer if you prefer well-done salmon.
Remove the blackened salmon fillets and place on serving dish.
3. Buns
​Toast buns on both sides (inside slightly longer until lightly browned) in pan with slight amount of oil.
Brush tops of buns with water & Dip in poppy seeds.
Toast for a few seconds.
4. Plate it
Add salmon to buns, top with slaw and Honey Mustard Sauce.
