A trio of services are planned so far for longtime Atlanta community activist Michael Langford who died a week ago.
When we first learned of Langford's death on November 16, we spoke to his longtime friend, former Atlanta City Council member, WAOK Radio talk show host Derrick Boazman. He called Langford "the best friend I had in the world."
There will be a public Candlelight Vigil on Sunday, November 28, 4pm at Arthur Langford Park.
Public viewing will begin at 2pm Tuesday, November 30, at Willie Watkins Funeral Home - West End Chapel.
Langford's funeral is Wednesday, December 1, 12 noon at West Hunter Street Baptist Church.
