An Atlanta restaurant looks extremely different this morning now that it's roof has collapsed. Mary Mac's Tea Room on Ponce De Leon Ave. is an iconic restaurant specializing in southern style soul food. The historic institution has been servicing the ATL since the 1940's and is the last of 16 tea rooms that where located throughout the city in the 1940's.
Reports came in at around 4am reporting that the roof of the restaurant had collapsed, and crews have been on the scene clearing wreckage. So far there has been no word on what caused the roof to collapse.
