Throughout Hornsby's time with us, it's very clear that mentorship is very high on list of things that are important to him. He shared that when he was young in his career, he had several mentors that played a role in keeping him on the road to success.
Hornsby grew up without his father so he very quickly found himself "thirsting" for the knowledge and guidance of older men.
And that knowledge and guidance that has been poured into him over the years, he doesn't hesitate to pour back into his younger castmates.
"It's really good working with young actors and actresses... It's my opportunity and my time to pour into them," he said.
He also gives 50 Cent a lot of credit for establishing a balance within the show by casting seasoned and non-seasoned actors. He shared that his experience with the show has been great and revealed that he didn't initially want to do it because he didn't want "to play another daddy."
