The Atlanta Braves added some outfield depth Thursday afternoon when they signed Adam Duvall to a one-year deal worth $3 Million. Duvall will be returning to the Braves for his third stint after playing the 2023 season for the Boston Red Sox.
Duvall adds help to the Braves bench and possibly some security after concerns about Jarred Kelenic's struggles in spring training. According to Mark Bowman, of MLB.com, the Braves have informed Kelenic that he'll platoon with Duvall.
Duvall hit .213 with 12 home runs for Boston in 2023, dealing with a number of injuries while playing 92 games.
