Atlanta United is in the midst of a franchise-defining offseason, hiring a new manager and a new technical director, but the work isn't done, they're looking to add pieces on the field still, and Atlanta United President and CEO Garth Lagerway details how he envisions building the squad and how it might look like a high-powered NFL offense.
"We got our quarterback in Alexey Miranchuk but we know we need to get some wide receivers, some left tackles, some of these high-priced guys that come in a can really impact the team and win games for us," says Lagerwey. "We're going to sign attackers and proven winners."
Atlanta United is rumored to be after a few attacking pieces out of Europe and will be looking to get those deals done quickly as the exhibition season start this Saturday in Chattanooga and the regular season begins just a month away against Montreal on February 22nd.
