The 0-4 start for the Atlanta Braves just got made a whole lot worse. Multiple reports surfaced Monday that newly-acquired outfielder Jurickson Profar is facing an 80-game suspension for using a banned substance. Profar will also be ineligible for postseason play as part of the suspension.

Jarred Kelenic, Bryan De La Cruz, Eli White, Alex Verdugo and Stuart Fairchild among the options to help on the corner outfield spots in Profar's absence. Profar will be sorely missed in a lineup that has mightily struggled to score runs thus far in 2025.

In a statement, Profar denies "knowingly" taking a banned substance but says he is willing to accept the consequences. He tested positive for Chorionic Gonadotrophin (hCG), a performance-enhancing drug.
