The Atlanta Braves will face the Washington Nationals in a doubleheader on Wednesday, MLB announced Monday. Per baseball's health and safety protocols, both games will be seven innings.
The three-game series was originally scheduled to start on Monday but was postponed until Tuesday due Covid-19 issues among the Nationals.
Washington had four players test positive for coronavirus with an additional five players and two staff members quarantined after it was determined they were in close contact to an infected individual.
The Nationals’ opening-weekend series against the Mets was also postponed.
