Ian Anderson hasn't started a game for the Braves since before the All-Star Break as he's been sidelined with right shoulder inflammation since July 11, but that could be about to change.
It appears that Anderson is ready to rejoin the Braves rotation after his latest rehab start on Tuesday night.
Anderson struck out nine batters in 5 innings allowing just one run for Gwinnett and is expected to return to the rotation possibly as soon as Sunday's finale against the Giants.
92.9 The Game Braves Insider Joe Patrick talks about the upcoming return of Ian Anderson and how it will affect the guys currently in the rotation.

It would seem that Huascar Ynoa's spot in the rotation is safe. But between Touki Toussaint and Drew Smyly, unless Snitker opts for a 6-man rotation, one guy has to go.
The Braves have won 12 of the last 13 games in which Smyly started, although he hasn't always had the strongest showings in those games. Toussaint has only had one start since joining the rotation that lasted less than 5 innings.
