92-9 the Game Atlanta Braves insider Joe Patrick joined Dukes & Bell to help preview the Braves-Phillies series and answer the question of if the winner of the NL MVP come from one of these two teams?
Patrick said one of the stars from these two teams could win the MVP.

“These kind of series really play a huge role in the minds of voters who cast their ballots for these things. Some people may brush that aside, but I think there is some legitimacy in that because I think if you’re the MVP I think it makes sense that you need to come up big in some of the biggest games of the season for your team,” Patrick said. “Especially if you’re a guy like Bryce Harper. You are the bonafide star of that team and if there’s a time that he’s kinda come up clutch it would certainly be in this series against the Braves.

“This Braves team, they could legitimately have four players in the top 10 of the MVP balloting, I don’t think any of them have a great chance to win it just because there are some other players who had such great seasons but when you think about Austin Riley, Ozzie Albies, Freddie Freeman like you mentioned and then of course Adam Duvall, who led the league in RBIs just had an incredible season. So it certainly is going to be a series that really showcases the star players for both teams.”
