Bally Sports analyst Kelly Crull joined Dukes & Bell to talk about the Atlanta Braves as they're set to get some much needed help from the IL. Could the Braves go to a six-man starting rotation down the stretch?

Crull talked about the team’s options when Ian Anderson and Huascar Ynoa come back.

“I didn’t realize that the Gwinnett game got postponed last night. Ian Anderson was supposed to get the start last night and Huascar Ynoa was supposed to get the start tonight and you got both of those guys nearing their return, then what are you doing,” Crull asked. “Are you putting Touki Touissant in the bullpen? Huascar Ynoa, I think at one point there was conversation about, well maybe you bring him back in the bullpen, he’s stretched out. His last time out he went above 70 pitches.

“If you’ve got Ynoa that stretched out I think you’re planning to use him as a starter then when you bring him back. What do you do with Kyle Muller and Touki Toussaint at that time, do you start into a six man rotation? Because there was a lot of talk coming into this year after a 60-game season last year just watching the mileage, the bullets on all these starters because they didn’t have a full season a year ago. Maybe it’s time they implement a six-man rotation which is something I know we’ve heard Snit say he’d consider, he’d talk through, some guys like that some guys don’t especially as you near playoff time.”
