Audacy.com MLB insider Jon Heyman joined Dukes & Bell to talk about the Braves moves at the deadline, have their strengthen the lineup and could they have gotten more bullpen help?
Heyman talked about how he liked the Braves moves, and thinks they did all they could at trade deadline.
“I liked the moves, I thought they were very good, offense was obviously beefed up quite a bit, Richard Rodriguez will definitely help the bullpen,” Heyman said. “I think I saw somebody tweet well maybe they could have gotten three relievers and one outfielder rather than the other way around, maybe.”
“Their pen certainly isn’t dynamic, it’s ok, so maybe, but the pen prices were very high and they took advantage with what they could do, and I think they’re in decent position and I think they did the right thing.”
