It's officially been one full week since the Atlanta Braves won the World Series and panic has already set in for some fans regarding Freddie Freeman and the possibility of him leaving in free agency.

While the Braves have made it clear that they want the 2020 NL MVP back and Freeman has made it clear that he'd like to remain in Atlanta, despite free agency being open, don't expect a signing to be announced in the very-near future.
With a CBA still to be discussed and approved, most, including Braves Insider Joe Patrick, don't expect any announcements regarding Freeman's future to take place until AFTER it has been adopted.
The current CBA expired at 11:59pm ET on Dec. 1 and a new one has to be adopted before then or the league would likely enter a period of a work stoppage.
