Bally Sports Atlanta Braves host Treavor Scales joined Dukes & Bell and talked about the red hot Braves and has Matt Olson helped fans get over Freddie Freeman’s departure?

When asked about Matt Olson’s performance this season.

“When you talk about the amazing pace of doubles that this man was at before the all-star break and though they might not be every night hits for this stringed together just blow out the door production, again he’s not Freddie,” Scales said. “But he has more than held his own and when he does come through for you, it comes through in major fashion. We’re talking about a guy who got some scoring cracking in that near comeback effort in the series finale against Houston, he’s always there to kinda give you a pop when you least expect it but when you most need it.”

Scales talked about what he appreciates most about Olson.

“That’s what I appreciate most about Matt Olson’s game because he’s gonna be sound defensively and also provide a little bit of offense, especially as a left handed bat that really does come through when you need it most.”
