There haven't been many bright spots for the Atlanta Braves offensively this season as they've stumbled to a 19-23 record through 42 games.

Obviously Ronald Acuña Jr. has done his thing, Austin Riley has been a pleasant surprise, and despite a low average, Freddie Freeman has provided quite a bit of offense for the team.

There's no doubt that it's been easier to point out disappointments this season than positives.

And while it's frustrating to see Marcell Ozuna batting .212 or Ozzie Albies' mark of .230, it's Dansby Swanson who's had the roughest go of things thus far.

Swanson is batting just .201, lowest among the Braves we expected to contribute, and his 54 strikeouts are the third most in the National League.

Atlanta Braves Insider Joe Patrick takes a look at Dansby's tough season so far and if he's in trouble of losing his role.

"Dansby has not been a guy that's been a concern about him becoming so sour you want to remove him from the lineup on a permanent basement, but here we are," says Joe Patrick. "Swanson is not hitting this year, he's striking out a ton, I wouldn't mind them taking a shot at least to get [Orlando] Arcia in the lineup a bit and see what he can do. I feel like this Braves offense needs some sort of shakeup to get it going."
