MLB Insider Bob Nightengale stopped by Dukes & Bell Wednesday and said he believes the DH could return to the NL in 2021.

“I think there will be a DH, I really do," said Nightengale. "These pitchers haven’t picked up a bat in over a year. I don’t think (MLB) wants these guys running around bases and taking at-bats. In negotiations, MLB would want an expanded playoffs in return, and I think they’ll get it.”

Nightingale believes this move, plus a slow market, could lead to a return to Atlanta for slugger Marcel Ozuna.

“I do. I think Ozuna, I think they can get him for more than a cheap price," said the baseball analyst. "Wait it out, like how everybody is waiting out Trevor Bauer, and what happened with George Springer.”
