Coming off the Atlanta Falcons 34-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, critics of the team's performance, which resulted in a season low 45 rushing yards and 213 total yards offensively, questioned whether offensive coordinator, Zac Robinson, is capable of play calling duties for the Falcons.
"It's like the best offense we've had since 2016," Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said on Wednesday, as he joined 92-9 The Game's Carl Dukes and Mike Bell and addressed why the team has no intention to move on from Robinson despite the team's offensive struggles the past two weeks as they have only found the end zone twice in their last 19 offensive drives.
However, Morris admitted that despite believing in Robinson's ability to run the Falcons offense, the team has to improve their outcomes inside the 20-yard line. "We have to do a better job in the red zone this year and I believe in my guys, I believe in what they do, I believe we'll go out there and get the stuff done, I believe we have the system in place, the coaches in place, I believe the guys are in place," Morris said of the Falcons' offensive group.
"It's not about defending everybody, it's not crisis management every time something goes wrong. You have to go out there and play and do what you do," Morris added as he explained he and the coaching staff will do their part in helping the Falcons prepare for this week's matchup and making a personnel change is not called.
